First, to download your data, you will need to log in to your Tellmegen account and, once on the main dashboard, click on the upper right corner where your name appears. In the dropdown menu, you will find the option «Settings». Click on «Settings» to go to the page where you can download your RAW file.
When you click on «Settings», you will find the «Kits» section. This is where you can download your DNA data. Next to your kit code, you will see a download icon, where you need to click for your Tellmegen RAW file to start downloading.
Once this is done, your TellmeGen RAW file will be downloaded to your computer. To find your DNA file after downloading it, search your computer for the letters «GL». This search should help you find a .zip file named after your KIT code, which starts with GL.
If your computer automatically extracts .zip files, look for a text file (.txt) instead, which will also be named after your KIT code.
How to upload your TellmeGen RAW file to ADNTRO?
Once you have found your TellmeGen RAW file on your computer, go to adntro.com and click on the button that says: ‘Upload your RAW’.
Next, you will need to click on the «Upload your DNA» button and start the registration process by entering your email address. You are now about to upload your TellmeGen RAW file to ADNTRO!
Make sure you have accepted the terms and the privacy policy in order to upload your file, and click on the «Continue» button. On the next screen, select «Browse file» to find your TellmeGen DNA file on your computer. If you already have the file located, you can also drag and drop it directly without needing to search for it.
On the next screen, we will analyze different aspects of your sample, and once all the checks are green, you can click on «Process my sample». In the ‘Alias’ section, you can define the name you want to give your sample, in case you need to differentiate your RAW file from different companies within the same ADNTRO profile.
Following these steps, you will have your TellmeGen RAW file on the ADNTRO platform for free.
