Your DNA is already analyzed

You already have your DNA. Make the most of it

Upload your file from 23andMe, MyHeritage, AncestryDNA or FamilyTreeDNA and access ADNTRO's reports without testing again.

Your first upload is free. No card required. Results in under 24 hours.

Compatible with your file

Where's your DNA from?

Coming from another company? We go by format

.txt

The raw data file exported by almost any genotyping test. Also works as .csv, or zipped as .zip.

.vcf

The standard format for a whole genome (WGS) sequenced by another company.

Whole genome VCF files aren't included in the free plan.

And many more. Not sure about your file? Upload it — we'll tell you right away if it's compatible.

Three steps and done

Upload your file

Drag in the .txt or .zip file you downloaded from your provider. We don't ask for any personal data.

We validate your variants

We cross-check your file against reference databases like UK Biobank and only publish what has scientific backing.

Read your reports

In under 24 hours you'll have your results, each one with the study it's based on.

Make the most of your genetic code

Upload your genetic file to ADNTRO and unlock more than 300 reports across seven categories: ancestry, nutrition, fitness, longevity, prevention, personality and fertility.

Ancestry

Which populations you come from and in what proportion, with your maternal and paternal haplogroups.

Nutrition

How you process lactose, gluten, caffeine, or fat, and which vitamins are harder for you to absorb.

Fitness

Whether your profile leans more toward strength or endurance, your recovery, and your injury risk.

Longevity

The genetic traits associated with aging and long-term health.

Prevention

Your predisposition to more than 300 diseases, with the study each one is based on.

Personality

Behavioral traits with a described genetic basis: sleep, sensitivity, appetite.

Fertility

Hormonal health and conception through your genes.

Maximum privacy and security

Your file is yours. Even while it's here

We don't offer relative matching, in keeping with our principle of total sample anonymity.

  • European servers

Your data is processed on European Google Cloud infrastructure, under GDPR.

  • We don't sell or share your data

We will never share or sell your data. When the chance to contribute to a scientific study comes up, we ask for your voluntary consent, and you can say no.

  • Your data is always yours

You can download your data and delete all our records at any time, no explanation needed.

The data is the same. The reading isn't

Nutrition Example

You metabolize caffeine slowly

SlowerFaster

Your body clears caffeine more slowly than most people's. An afternoon coffee can still be affecting you by bedtime.

Moderate evidence · 14 studies reviewedThe evidence shows how much this association has been studied, not how much it affects you.
What it's based on CYP1A2 rs762551 C/T

Sleep depends on many factors besides genetics.

Every result links to its study

You can check the publication it's based on for yourself, and see the markers detected in your file.

Validated against reference databases

We use databases like the UK Biobank to validate every variant before publishing a result.

It keeps up with the science

When a new study changes what we know about a variant, your report changes with it.

Who we work with and what backs us

Scientific standard

Are DNA tests reliable?

Yes, when they use validated technology. ADNTRO analyses ~700,000 markers with an Illumina GSA chip in an ISO 17025-certified laboratory (Eurofins, Denmark), and its risk models are published in peer-reviewed journals.

  • Variants with evidence described in peer-reviewed literature
  • Informational results, never a diagnosis
  • The same standard whether your DNA comes from a kit or a file you upload
  • Results linked to the study they're based on, its population and sample size
  • UK Biobank as our validation base

Frequently asked questions

How do I download my raw file?
Each company calls it something different (“raw data”, “DNA data export”, “download your DNA”), but they all offer it: it's in your account on their website, under downloads or raw data.
How long do my results take?
Less than 24 hours with the free plan. With Premium you get a priority queue.
What if my file isn't compatible?
We'll tell you right away, before you pay anything.
Can I upload someone else's DNA?
Only with their explicit consent. You're responsible for the files you upload.
Is it the same as taking the test with you?
The reports are the same. The difference is the file's coverage: our kit analyzes more than 700,000 markers, and some third-party files cover fewer variants, so there may be results we can't calculate.
Is this a medical diagnosis?
No. Results are for research and educational purposes, and they don't replace consultation with a healthcare professional. We calculate your predisposition from published genetic association studies (GWAS), so you can explore your genetic code with context.
