Once your account is verified, you will have to wait to receive the instructions to download your AncestryDNA RAW file in your email. This process could take up to 24 hours.

When you receive the email, you will have to click on the button "Download DNA Data"and it will take you to a new screen where you can download your genetic data from AncestryDNA by clicking on the button "Download DNA data".

Once this is done, your AncestryDNA RAW file will be downloaded to your computer. To locate your DNA file after downloading it, search your computer for “dna-data”. With this search, you should find a .zip file named dna-data along with the date on which you downloaded your file.

If your computer automatically extracts .zip files, look for a text file (.txt) instead.
