El conjunto de estos eventos reciben el nombre de <strong>ciclo celular<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fases del ciclo celular<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El ciclo celular consta de <strong>dos fases<\/strong>: la fase de interfase y la fase mit\u00f3tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Interfase<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante la interfase, <strong>la c\u00e9lula crece y realiza sus funciones<\/strong>. En esta fase nos encontramos con tres subfases diferentes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>G1<\/strong>: subfase en la que <strong>la c\u00e9lula crece<\/strong> y se prepara para <a href=\"https:\/\/adntro.com\/es\/blog\/aprende-genetica\/replicacion_transcripcion_traduccion\/\">replicar su ADN<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>S<\/strong>: subfase en la que la c\u00e9lula <strong>replica<\/strong> su ADN.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>G2<\/strong>: segunda fase de <strong>crecimiento <\/strong>en la que la c\u00e9lula se prepara para la divisi\u00f3n celular o mitosis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>M<\/strong>: fase conocida como mitosis que da lugar a las<strong> dos c\u00e9lulas hijas<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/adntro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/ciclo-celular.png\" alt=\"Fases del ciclo celular\" class=\"wp-image-10860\" width=\"265\" height=\"235\" srcset=\"https:\/\/adntro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/ciclo-celular.png 300w, https:\/\/adntro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/ciclo-celular-13x12.png 13w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 265px) 100vw, 265px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:24px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fases de la mitosis<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La fase mit\u00f3tica tambi\u00e9n conocida como mitosis o divisi\u00f3n celular es la fase durante la cual <strong>la c\u00e9lula se divide en dos c\u00e9lulas hijas id\u00e9nticas a la c\u00e9lula madre<\/strong>. La fase mit\u00f3tica consta de cinco etapas principales:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Profase<\/strong>: la envoltura nuclear se desintegra y <strong>el <a href=\"https:\/\/adntro.com\/es\/blog\/aprende-genetica\/que-es-adn\/\">ADN<\/a> se condensa formando <a href=\"https:\/\/adntro.com\/es\/blog\/aprende-genetica\/que-es-adn\/\">cromosomas<\/a><\/strong>. Los cromosomas est\u00e1n compuestos por dos copias id\u00e9nticas de ADN llamadas crom\u00e1tidas hermanas, unidas por un \u00e1rea llamada el centr\u00f3mero. Al mismo tiempo, el <strong>huso mit\u00f3tico<\/strong> (un complejo de microt\u00fabulos) <strong>comienza a formarse<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Metafase<\/strong>: los <strong>cromosomas se alinean en el centro de la c\u00e9lula<\/strong> formando una estructura conocida como <strong>placa ecuatorial<\/strong>. El huso mit\u00f3tico se une a los centr\u00f3meros de los cromosomas y los prepara para su posterior separaci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Anafase<\/strong>: las <strong>crom\u00e1tidas hermanas se separan<\/strong> y son arrastradas hacia los extremos opuestos de la c\u00e9lula. Este proceso est\u00e1 impulsado por los microt\u00fabulos del huso mit\u00f3tico que se acortan, arrastrando las crom\u00e1tidas hermanas a polos opuestos de la c\u00e9lula.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Telofase<\/strong>: la <strong>envoltura nuclear<\/strong> se reforma alrededor de cada conjunto de cromosomas. El huso mit\u00f3tico se desintegra y <strong>la c\u00e9lula empieza a dividirse en<\/strong> <strong>dos c\u00e9lulas hijas<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Citocinesis<\/strong>: en esta etapa la c\u00e9lula termina su divisi\u00f3n gracias a la <strong>divisi\u00f3n del citoplasma celular<\/strong>. Este proceso var\u00eda entre las c\u00e9lulas animales y las c\u00e9lulas vegetales.
