It is the biological discipline in charge of <strong>study the effect of genetic variability<\/strong> of an individual in his <strong>response to certain medications<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We are not all the same<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Not all of us respond the same to medications. Our genetics can determine <strong>how effective is a drug<\/strong> in our body or if your <strong>side effects<\/strong> they may be older. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Medicines today constitute one of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/adntro.com\/en\/blog\/pharmacogenetics-pharmacogenomics\/diversity-genetics-clinical-essays\/\">main causes of adverse reactions<\/a><\/strong>. This is because a certain <strong>homogeneity in patients<\/strong>, and therefore that the effective and well-tolerated drugs in some will also be so in the rest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>But nothing is further from the truth, the truth is that they exist <strong>people who tolerate a medicine worse<\/strong> or what <strong>the efficiency of this is very low<\/strong> in your body. If your gene variant for this enzyme produces a <strong>low drug metabolism efficiency<\/strong>, this will result in a <strong>increased toxicity<\/strong>. If the gene variant produces a &quot;more suitable target&quot; the drug will have a greater effect on your body, and therefore <strong>you will need less doses<\/strong> to achieve the same effect. All\u00ed estudi\u00f3 las redes de interacci\u00f3n metab\u00f3lica en el microbioma de pacientes con Enfermedad de Chron y Colitis Ulcerosa en el centro de investigaci\u00f3n CBGP, centro de Excelencia Severo Ochoa (2020).
